Operation Shoebox

Have some extra Halloween candy hanging around your house?  Looking for a way to part with it, short of eating all of it or throwing it away?   We have the perfect solution.  Let's donate our surplus candy to our troops! Just swing by the Manchester Community Center and drop your extra Halloween loot in our drop box.   We will collect it in a couple of weeks and mail it off to Operation Shoebox for distribution to our soldiers.  It can be whole bags of candy as well as candy that our munchkins collected during Trick or Treat.  We'll take it all.  And if you explain to your little ones who the candy is going to, they'll probabky be happy to help.  Thanks for your help!

The Community Giving Tree

The Community Giving Tree is accepting winter clothes donations

Now that fall is here it's time to break out the warm, cozy sweaters, winter jackets, hats and mittens.  Do you have extra fall/winter gear hanging around your house?  Perhaps items that your little one(s) have outgrown? Many children in Essex County need your gently used baby gear and children’s fall and winter clothing. Community Giving Tree is open one Saturday morning each month. Your donated goods will be delivered to a child’s home within a week. Drop off your donations at Community Giving Tree in West Boxford.

Saturday, November 17 or Saturday, December 8             9:00am – Noon
