Countdown To Kindergarten event "Let Your Light Shine Bright" geared toward children entering Kindergarten in the fall will be held at the Wenham Museum, 132 Main St, Wenham. 
Thursday July 23 at 6:00 - 7:30 pm. 
Learn about light, lanterns, candles. Each child will make a candle and a clay candle holder. FREE.

Puppet children explore the fantasies of their dreams when they stay up late on Winter Solstice. Debussy's Snowflakes Are Dancing inspires this musical fantasy. Over 30 whimsical puppets of all sizes and shapes interpret and visualize the music. The award-winning Gerwick Puppets have toured New England for over 30 years and performed at Boston's First Night for 15 years.

Christmas-by-the-Sea Shopping Evening with Child Care

The Manchester Community Center, the Manchester Public Library and the Manchester Essex Green Team are teaming up in support of the Christmas-by-the-Sea shopping evening by providing childcare services at the Library. Here's how it works:
Drop off children on Friday, December 5th at the side entrance of the Manchester Public Library between the hours of 5:00 - 8:30 PM. (Cell numbers must be provided at drop off.)
Minimum donation: $10 per child with a family maximum of $30 for the evening.
The Green Team will entertain the children by providing arts & crafts, games, movie, etc. (Adult chaperons will be on hand.)
Light refreshments provided, but please be sure your children have had dinner.  Proceeds will go to support the programming offered by the Manchester Community Center and support the efforts of the Manchester-Essex Green Team.
