Brookwood's 4-14 Speaker Series - Oct. 15th

When author Bruce Feiler began working on The Secrets of Happy Families, he sought out forward-thinking, creative people in a wide variety of fields - thought leaders in Silicon Valley, elite peace negotiators, the creators of Modern Family, and Green Berets. He asked them all what team-building exercises and problem-solving techniques they use in their jobs and at home with their families. Feiler then tested these ideas with his own wife and kids. The result is a fun, completely original look at how families can draw closer together and is full of ideas for today's parents.
*   *   *
Tickets are $10, $15 for Brookwood's two-event series. The second speaker event of 2014-2015 will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 and will feature Time magazine senior writer Jeffrey Kluger discussing his book The Sibling Effect. Kluger's provocative book will be of interest to all parents whether they have siblings themselves or are raising multiple children and watching their kids interact as siblings.
